Former Amadeus Exec to Lead Flight Centre Corp. Brands’ Tech

Flight Centre Travel Group has named former Amadeus executive Roy Goldschmitt as global chief technology officer for its corporate brands.

Goldschmitt, who has worked in travel technology for about 20 years and most recently as Amadeus’ director of product development, will oversee core shared services behind the customer-facing products offered by both FCM and Corporate Traveler, the Flight Centre travel management company that focuses on start-ups and midmarket businesses. Those products include the business rule and automation platform, the traveler profile and API platforms and sales and marketing automation, according to Flight Centre.

Flight Centre global chief experience officer John Morhous in a statement said Goldschmitt has “a key combination of in-depth knowledge of the travel tech industry combined with extensive experience in leading customer projects and organizational transformation.”
