Four Seasons has reached a significant milestone in the construction of its inaugural yacht in collaboration with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd and Fincantieri, an Italian shipbuilder. The keel-laying ceremony, held today in Ancona, Italy, marked the official commencement of construction for Four Seasons I.

Scheduled to embark on its maiden voyage in January 2026, Four Seasons I saw executives from all three companies present at the ceremony, which included the traditional welding of three coins to the ship’s hull for good luck.

Once completed, the all-suite, residential-style vessel will first sail through the Caribbean before venturing into the Mediterranean. Plans are also underway for the construction of a second yacht in the future.

“The keel-laying ceremony represents a pivotal moment in the development of our inaugural yacht and for the Four Seasons brand as we extend our renowned luxury service and hospitality experiences to the seas,” said Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons.
