Corsair International (SS, Paris Orly) took delivery of the first of its five A330-900s on March 31, 2021. F-GRNB (msn 1975) was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac to Paris Orly and is scheduled to enter into revenue service on April 15, 2021, initially operating daily between Orly and Pointe à Pitre, the ch-aviation schedules module shows. The aircraft is dry-leased from Avolon. It is equipped with 352 seats across three classes and has an increased maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 251 tonnes, nine more than the standard variant. The French airline plans to add a further two A330-900s in May and June 2021, another one in December, and the final one in June 2022, the ch-aviation fleets advanced module indicates. Following last year’s retirement of all of its remaining B747-400s, Corsair International is now an all-A330 airline. It operates a single A330-200 and four A330-300s, all of which are dry-leased. The airline specialises in services between Paris and the French Caribbean but also serves several African destinations.
