Garner to Offer AI-Based Air Distribution Advisory Services
Former American Airlines executive Cory Garner has launched his own set of advisory services on airline distribution, including AI technology to answer questions about the topic.
Garner, who was with American for 20 years and led its direct-connect and New Distribution Capability strategies, set up his eponymous advisory services to provide insight on airline distribution “through the lens of any stakeholder,” including corporate travel managers, travel management companies, airlines, investors and technology suppliers, Garner said Monday during a launch for the services on LinkedIn. At the base level, clients get questions answered by expert-trained AI, with “clear and concise explanations” of a few pages or slides and a turnaround time of five business days or less per question. Garner is charging $9,000 a year for unlimited questions via the technology, for which he will add his own quality assurances as it “learns over a period of time,” he said.
Garner also is offering higher-touch services at a higher annual cost, including virtual sessions, co-branded thought pieces, joint presentations or strategic recommendations requiring a deeper knowledge of a company, for a higher annual cost, which also includes the AI advisory service.
Garner for the past few years has been co-CEO of technology and research firm T2RL, which specialized in airline tech sourcing. He left the company about a month ago, he said during the LinkedIn event.
