Genel Havacilik, based at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, has added its first Global Express XRS to its fleet while retiring its sole Falcon 2000, signaling a shift in its fleet composition. According to ch-aviation research, this update underscores the company’s focus on ultra-long-range private jets.

The newly inducted Global Express XRS, registered as TC-TSS (msn 9333), is a 16-year-old aircraft previously operated by Germany’s MHS Aviation as D-ACCF. It was the final aircraft of this type in MHS Aviation’s fleet, last active under the ‘MHV’ code on September 17, following a test flight near London Biggin Hill. The jet flew to Istanbul Atatürk on November 15, marking its official induction into Genel Havacilik’s fleet.

Meanwhile, the 18.1-year-old Falcon 2000, registered as TC-ADA (msn 229), has been retired and is now managed by Turkish operator Be Aero, which operates two other Falcon 2000s.

Genel Havacilik’s fleet now includes the Global Express XRS alongside two Turkish-registered Global 5000s and a San Marino-registered Global Express. Despite retiring the Falcon 2000, the company continues to operate two Dassault jets, a Falcon 50EX and a Falcon 900DX.

In addition to these jets, Genel Havacilik manages a versatile fleet of Bombardier, Embraer, and Textron business aircraft, catering to Türkiye’s growing demand for premium private aviation services.

This move highlights Genel Havacilik’s commitment to expanding its capabilities and meeting client demands.
