Robotic self-propelled machines touted for pummeling viruses and bacteria with ultraviolet light are joining the housekeeping staffs of major hotel brands as the pandemic drives high-tech hygiene advancement. The steep expense of the devices is justified by consumer reassurance, says YOTEL Boston General Manager Trish Berry, noting “It gave me a little peace of mind that I could offer something extra for our guests.”
