The agreement encompasses new destinations, including Marsa Alam in Egypt and Mombasa, Kenya (via Hurghada), representing a noteworthy expansion of services from the Lithuanian capital.

The charter flights to Kenya pose a unique challenge, with a flight duration of up to 11 hours. GetJet Airlines operates a diverse fleet consisting of five A320-200s, one A321-200, and five B737-800s. Additionally, its sister carrier, GetJet Airlines Latvia, operates an A320-200, while affiliate Airhub Airlines, based in Malta, operates two A320s, one A330-200, two A330-300s, and one A330-900. Recently, the airline group expressed its consideration of adding widebody aircraft to its Latvian Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC).

This partnership with Itaka Lithuania marks a significant stride for GetJet Airlines as it strengthens its position in the leisure charter segment, offering diverse and exclusive flight options from Vilnius to popular winter destinations.
