Global air cargo volumes slowed in Aug.

The decline in global air cargo volumes slowed in August to a 5% year-over-year drop, compared to 8% and 9% decreases in June and July, respectively, according to a report by Xeneta unit Clive Data Services. For August, general air freight spot rates were the lowest since September 2021 at an average of $3.61 per kilogram, but they remained 113% above 2019 figures.
