Global Jet Austria has resumed its Dassault Aviation operations by incorporating a Spanish-registered Falcon 2000LXS into its growing fleet, a strategic move that underscores the company’s commitment to expanding its range of high-performance jets. The newly added aircraft, registered as EC-OLH, is a 6.2-year-old Falcon 2000LXS configured to accommodate up to 10 passengers in a luxurious, well-appointed cabin. Prior to joining Global Jet Austria, this aircraft was operated by Switzerland’s Cat Aviation under the registration HB-IBJ, and it was based at Zurich until September 2024.

The aircraft’s operational history includes its most recent activity under Cat Aviation’s ‘CAZ’ code on February 18, 2025, when it flew a route between Geneva and Rotterdam, with a subsequent leg to Farnborough. After these flights, the jet was temporarily parked until February 27, when it departed for Valencia Manises, signaling its transition to a new chapter under Global Jet Austria’s management. This resumption of operations with a Falcon 2000LXS reflects the dynamic nature of the aviation market and the growing demand for versatile, mid-sized jets capable of servicing a variety of routes and client needs.

Cat Aviation, known for its expertise in operating premium business jets, recently phased out its fleet of Falcon 7X models. Despite this fleet modernization, Cat Aviation continues to operate a Falcon 2000LXS along with a Falcon 6X and two Pilatus PC-24s, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to offering a mix of advanced and efficient aircraft. The departure of the Falcon 7X from their lineup marks a broader trend of fleet evolution in which operators are increasingly focused on balancing performance, operational cost, and passenger comfort.

Global Jet Austria’s decision to add the Falcon 2000LXS comes on the heels of a history of operating several Dassault jets, including two Falcon 2000EX EASy models that were part of its fleet until the most recent retirement in 2023. This addition complements four other Spanish-registered aircraft currently managed by Global Jet Austria, which include a Challenger 604, a Citation Latitude, and two G200s. The company’s portfolio is further diversified with Austrian-registered aircraft such as two Global 7500s and a G650, as well as Swiss-registered jets that feature a Global 7500 and a Pilatus PC-24.

In addition to these assets, the broader Global Jet group extends its reach through the operation of 13 Dassault jets under Global Jet Luxembourg’s certificate. This impressive collection includes a Falcon 900EX EASy, two Falcon 900LXs, a Falcon 2000S, a Falcon 2000(LX), another Falcon 2000LXS, a Falcon 2000EX EASy, four Falcon 7X models, and two Falcon 8X aircraft. Such a diverse fleet allows the Global Jet group to cater to a wide range of clientele, offering flexibility in terms of capacity, range, and comfort.

This latest fleet update not only enhances Global Jet Austria’s operational capabilities but also reinforces its position in the competitive business aviation market. By integrating the Falcon 2000LXS into its roster, Global Jet Austria is well positioned to meet the growing demand for reliable and luxurious air travel across Europe and beyond, setting new standards in service excellence and operational efficiency.
