In a strategic move to enhance its fleet capabilities, GLOBALX (G6) has wet-leased an A320-200 from its affiliate carrier, Canada Jetlines (AU). The aircraft, registered as C-GJLH with manufacturer serial number 3460, was ferried to Miami International on November 3, 2023. Since its arrival, this A320 has been actively utilized in operations on behalf of Sunrise Airways (S6) in Haiti, a key charter customer for GLOBALX.

The leased A320 is part of Canada Jetlines’ fleet, which currently comprises three A320s. While GLOBALX shareholders maintain a 25% ownership stake in Canada Jetlines, the carrier operates independently, with a primary focus on scheduled leisure flights connecting Canada with various destinations in the Caribbean, the United States, and Central America.

GLOBALX, on the other hand, boasts a diverse fleet that includes one A319-100, eight A320-200s, three A321-200s, one A321-200(P2F), and two A321-200(PCFs), as outlined by the ch-aviation fleets advanced module. This recent wet-lease arrangement reflects GLOBALX’s commitment to optimizing its operational capabilities and meeting the growing demands of its charter services. Stay tuned for more updates as GLOBALX continues to strategically leverage its network for enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.
