GlobeAir Launches Citation M2 Fractional Ownership Program

Austria-based GlobeAir has officially launched a new fractional ownership program featuring the latest Citation M2 Gen2 jets. The announcement was made at AERO Friedrichshafen 2025, marking a major step in the company’s fleet modernization strategy.
The program offers fractional shares ranging from 12.5% to 50% in brand-new Citation M2 Gen2 aircraft, which are configured to carry up to six passengers. Shareholders benefit from guaranteed access, fixed monthly fees, and no additional costs for fuel or positioning. GlobeAir will manage all aspects of the aircraft, including maintenance, crew, and insurance, under its full-service model.
The first Citation M2 Gen2 aircraft is still pending delivery, but GlobeAir plans to rapidly scale the program with an initial fleet of ten M2s. These new jets are set to replace the company’s aging fleet of 19 Citation Mustangs, which average over 16 years in service. The Mustangs, configured for four passengers, have become increasingly challenging to maintain due to limited parts availability.
GlobeAir CEO Bernhard Fragner had previously discussed the company’s fractional ownership ambitions in an interview in early 2024. The introduction of the M2 Gen2 program is designed to meet rising demand for flexible, cost-effective private aviation options in Europe.
As GlobeAir transitions to newer, more spacious jets, the company aims to enhance passenger experience and operational reliability. The shift to the Citation M2 Gen2 also positions GlobeAir to attract new customers seeking modern, efficient business jet travel solutions with predictable costs and high service standards.
