GoldJet Airways Sets flying

GoldJet Airways sets out plan to start flying before the end of 2021

GoldJet Airways is set to begin operations before the end of 2021 taking to the skies as a virtual airline under the umbrella of partner carriers utilising their AOC licences.

GoldJet is leasing two Boeing 737-800 and two A330-200 aircraft to start the regional and long-haul flights to Europe. An initial network of twelve sub-regional routes have been identified which are scheduled to start mid-October 2021.

The company plans to launch its cargo operations with weekly A330-200 cargo flights from London Gatwick before the end of this year flying to Lagos, Luanda, Accra, Freetown, and Banjul operated by EU Airline…

GoldJet Airways has signed a partnership agreement with Global Partnership (London) to facilitate and bring together local businesses, foreign and local teams of professionals to facilitate the GoldJet Airways turnkey solutions.

GoldJet will operate from its main bases:

Kotoka International Airport (ACC) Ghana will serve as the main West African hub in partnership with our local AOC partner.
Luton Airport (LTN) in the United Kingdom will serve as our main European base operating daily direct flights to Ghana, Banjul, Freetown, Uganda and Liberia.
Goldjet plans to offer direct flights from Ghana (ACC) to Malta International Airport (MLA) transiting passengers to Italy and Tunisia as well as creating package holiday experiences from Ghana and Nigeria to Malta.

GoldJet intends to develop a point to point network linking strategic cities in Africa and, in the longer term, provide feeder services to and from Banjul (BJL) and Accra (ACC).

The Chairman/Founder, Regina Trepczyk, said that GoldJet has a “high growth potential” and plans that it will become the benchmark for West African aviation.

GoldJet will be led by the CEO from SkyAngel, Mr. Cemalettin Celebi who, with a team of aviation professionals will manage operations in Ghana and Gambia. Regina Trepczyk will manage the International Sales and Marketing.
