Grand Hyatt Expands Global Portfolio with 10+ New Hotels

Grand Hyatt is continuing its global expansion with over 10 new hotels planned through 2027, including the recent openings of Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, Grand Hyatt Barcelona, and Grand Hyatt Kuwait Residences. The luxury brand, known for its sophisticated properties, is adding new destinations to its portfolio to cater to the growing demand from World of Hyatt members, customers, and owners.

The first of these new properties, Grand Hyatt Barcelona, opened in April 2024 as the brand’s first hotel in Spain. This 465-room hotel features world-class wellness and meeting facilities. Meanwhile, Grand Hyatt Kuwait Residences, which opened in December 2023, offers a lavish living experience within a 33-floor residential tower in the dynamic Sabah Al Salem area.

Looking ahead, several more Grand Hyatt hotels are set to open in the coming years, expanding the brand’s presence in some of the most coveted locations worldwide. These include:

  • Grand Hyatt Deer Valley (2025) – Located in Utah, this hotel will be the brand’s debut in the state, offering 436 guestrooms and direct access to Deer Valley’s ski terrain. It will feature après-ski dining options and one of the largest mountainside event spaces in the U.S.
  • Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa (2025) – This luxurious property will be located near Seven Mile Beach, featuring 382 guestrooms, 47,000 square feet of meeting space, and one of the largest ballrooms in the Cayman Islands.
  • Grand Hyatt The Red Sea (2025) – Situated on Shaura Island in Saudi Arabia, this hotel will anchor the transformative Red Sea Project, with 430 guestrooms and cutting-edge event spaces.
  • Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort (2026) – Located on the Yucatan Peninsula, this resort will offer 500 guestrooms with views of the Caribbean Sea, 11 dining venues, and over 16,000 square feet of event space.
  • Grand Hyatt Jaipur (2026) – The first Grand Hyatt in Rajasthan, India, this property will feature 409 guestrooms and expansive event spaces across 21 acres.
  • Grand Hyatt Los Cabos (2026) – The brand’s first hotel in Baja California Sur, Mexico, this resort will include 300 guestrooms and over 20,000 square feet of event space, along with access to the OLEADA Pacific Living & Golf private resort community.
  • Grand Hyatt St. Lucia (2026) – Located in Sunset Bay, St. Lucia, this resort will offer 345 guestrooms, three pools, and 20,000 square feet of event space.
  • Grand Hyatt Bangalore (2027) – This hotel will be located in the Whitefield district of Bangalore, India, featuring 400 guestrooms and over 37,000 square feet of event space.

Additional planned openings include Grand Hyatt Suzhou Bay (2026), Grand Hyatt Hohhot (2027), Grand Hyatt Yantai Laishan (2027), and Grand Hyatt Madinah (2027), further strengthening the brand’s presence in key global markets.

These new openings are part of Grand Hyatt’s continued commitment to offering luxury, world-class facilities, and unforgettable experiences in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
