AI technology provider Grapevine has signed a partnership agreement with Charleston, W.V.-based National Travel, its first travel management company partner based in the United States, the company announced.

Per the agreement, Grapevine will provide National Travel, which works with government clients as well as small and large corporations, with technology that sends travelers hotel and other travel recommendations via email, text and Whatsapp messaging after they make a flight or rail booking. That will help National Travel’s clients ensure their travelers’ bookings are following policy and staying within their travel platform and also will boost National Travel’s revenue per trip, according to Grapevine.

The U.K.-based Grapevine, which launched in early 2020, last year won both the Business Travel Innovator of the Year at BTN’s Innovate conference and the Business Travel Innovation Faceoff at Business Travel Show Europe. Its other TMC partners include the U.K.-based Advantage Travel Partnership and Gray Dawes.
