Grupo Vidanta to Launch Luxury Yacht Elegant in 2025

Grupo Vidanta, renowned for its luxury resort hotels in Mexico, is expanding into the cruising industry with the debut of Elegant, a luxury, adults-only mega yacht set to launch in early 2025. Part of the VidantaWorld division, the 500-foot yacht will offer exclusive Caribbean and Mediterranean sailings, and bookings for the inaugural voyages are now open.

Originally scheduled to debut in April 2022, the launch of Elegant was delayed and is now slated for next year. The yacht features 149 staterooms and suites, six public decks, multiple pools, jacuzzis, 13 restaurants and lounges, a full-service spa, and top-tier onboard entertainment. Designed by Rockwell Group and SMC Design, and managed by Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement Cruise Services (BSM Cruise), the vessel has undergone extensive refurbishment to ensure a luxurious experience.

Before its official launch in 2025, Elegant will offer a series of one-night preview sailings for guests at Vidanta Riviera Maya in November and December, with additional itineraries expected to be announced.
