Gulfstream Aerospace has marked a major milestone with the delivery of its first G800 executive jet, the company confirmed on August 27, 2025. The aircraft was handed over to an undisclosed customer following completion work at Gulfstream’s Appleton, Wisconsin, facility.

The G800 is the newest addition to the Gulfstream lineup and represents the next step in the manufacturer’s long-range business jet portfolio. Certified by both the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in April 2025, the jet brings advanced technology and performance upgrades to the segment.

Capable of seating up to 19 passengers, the G800 succeeds the G650 and G650ER, whose production ended in February 2025. It joins the G700, certified in 2024, as part of Gulfstream’s new generation of large-cabin aircraft.

With a maximum range of 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 kilometers) at Mach 0.85, the G800 sets the benchmark for long-distance business travel. At a higher cruise speed of Mach 0.90, it can still cover 7,000 nautical miles (12,964 kilometers) nonstop. Its top operating speed of Mach 0.935 places it among the fastest civilian aircraft in the skies today.

Beyond performance, the G800 is equipped with the latest Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck, advanced avionics, and a redesigned cabin with multiple layouts to enhance comfort on ultra-long-haul missions.

This first delivery signals the start of customer operations and reinforces Gulfstream’s leadership in the high-end business aviation market.
