Hawaiian Airlines repatriates Samoans home
Hawaiian Airlines is working with the Samoan government to bring home thousands of American Samoa residents who have been stranded since the Pacific island territory closed its borders as a precaution to stop the spread of COVID-19 in early 2020. We know that the people coming off our planes could be one of our family members, and that has been an extremely unifying and exciting feeling for all of us,” said Tuli Fruean, general manager of Hawaiian’s station in Pago Pago.
