Hawaiian Airlines to eliminate single-use plastics by 2029
Hawaiian Airlines is increasing its sustainability goals across its operations, which it outlined in its annual Corporate Kuleana Report. The carrier plans to eliminate single-use plastics from cabin service by 2029 and increase in-flight food and beverage products to 40% by 2025. “We think [these goals] are going to challenge our team to innovate and find new solutions to these problems so we can be a better airline,” Avi Mannis, Hawaiian’s chief marketing and communications officer said.
