Hawaiian to operate freighters for Amazon

Hawaiian Airlines announced an agreement that calls for the e-commerce giant to acquire a stake of up to 15% in the airline, which will operate a fleet of Airbus A330-300 converted freighters for Amazon starting in the fall of 2023. Hawaiian CEO Peter Ingram said Amazon chose the airline because of its familiarity with the aircraft, its cargo experience and its strong performance as a passenger airline.
