Hilton Launches Diamond Reserve Tier with Premium Elite Benefits

Hilton is rolling out major updates to its Honors loyalty program, including a new top-tier elite status offering elevated, personalized perks. Beginning in January, the Hilton Honors program will introduce Diamond Reserve, a new invitation-only tier designed for the brand’s most loyal travelers.

Diamond Reserve members will enjoy premium benefits such as a confirmable upgrade reward that can be redeemed instantly at booking, guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, and exclusive 24/7 customer service support. Hilton said the changes aim to provide more meaningful recognition across every step of the travel experience.

Gold status will also become more attainable and valuable under the new structure. Members will earn Gold with just 25 nights per year—15 fewer than the current requirement—and continue to receive perks such as space-available room upgrades, daily food and beverage credits or continental breakfast (depending on brand and region), and an 80 percent points bonus.

Diamond status will require only 50 nights annually instead of 60, maintaining benefits like executive lounge access, early room upgrade confirmation, daily food and beverage credits or breakfast, a 48-hour room guarantee, and a 100 percent points bonus.

Hilton says the updated program is designed to make achieving elite status easier starting in 2026 while strengthening overall member benefits.

More About Diamond Reserve

The new Diamond Reserve tier is positioned as Hilton’s highest recognition level, created for travelers who consistently choose Hilton for their stays. Qualification requires 80 nights per year and $18,000 in annual eligible spend.

One of the most notable perks is the Confirmable Upgrade Reward, which allows members to secure premium upgrades—including one-bedroom suites—for stays of up to seven nights at the time of booking, including through the Hilton Honors app. Members earn one reward upon reaching Diamond Reserve and can earn a second after 120 nights or 30,000 Points.

Additional Diamond Reserve benefits include guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, priority assistance from a dedicated customer service team, and complimentary access to Hilton’s Premium Clubs, which offer enhanced food and beverage service, quiet workspaces, and elevated amenities.

Diamond Reserve members also receive the highest upgrade priority, with space-available upgrades confirmed as early as three days before check-in. They will also earn a 120 percent points bonus on every stay, the most generous earning rate in the Hilton Honors program.
