Hilton Nears 1,000-Hotel Milestone in EMEA

Hilton is set to reach a major growth milestone this spring, with nearly 1,000 hotels operating across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This expansion includes the debut of the Tempo by Hilton brand in the region and continued growth of Spark by Hilton, the company’s affordable lifestyle brand. The surge in hotel development highlights Hilton’s commitment to meeting growing travel demand across diverse markets and offering options for every traveler.
The EMEA region will welcome its first Tempo by Hilton hotels in key urban destinations. These include Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre, Tempo by Hilton Lisbon Parque das Nações, and Tempo by Hilton Reykjavik. These properties will showcase the brand’s contemporary design and wellness-focused amenities, aimed at modern travelers seeking style, functionality, and a sense of balance during their stay.
At the same time, Hilton is expanding its Spark by Hilton brand into new countries, bringing affordable comfort and reliable service to even more travelers. The brand will enter Türkiye with the Spark by Hilton Van City Centre and debut in Spain with the Spark by Hilton Madrid Alcalá. Looking ahead, three additional Spark by Hilton properties are scheduled to open in France in 2026, further strengthening the brand’s footprint across Europe.
All new hotels will be part of the Hilton Honors loyalty program, providing benefits to over 210 million members globally. From complimentary upgrades to exclusive experiences, Hilton Honors members can earn and redeem points across a growing number of brands and properties in the EMEA region.
Simon Vincent CBE, executive vice president and president for the EMEA region at Hilton, emphasized the significance of the upcoming milestone. “We’re thrilled to be reaching the impressive milestone of 1,000 hotels across 77 countries in EMEA,” Vincent said. “Fueled by new brand launches, several upcoming openings, and our strategic partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, our customers and more than 210 million Hilton Honors members can now stay at 19 out of Hilton’s 24 brands.”
Hilton’s expansion strategy is underpinned by a robust development pipeline of more than 450 hotels in the EMEA region. This forward momentum demonstrates the company’s commitment to growing its presence in both established and emerging markets. Hilton’s vision of offering accommodations for every type of traveler, at every price point, and in every destination is increasingly becoming a reality.
With the introduction of new brands and properties in key cities and the continued support of its global loyalty program, Hilton is well-positioned to solidify its leadership in the EMEA hospitality market. As the company moves closer to its 1,000-hotel milestone in the region, travelers can expect even more choice, comfort, and innovation from one of the world’s most recognized hotel brands.
