Hilton Permanently Extends Point-Expiration Policy
Hilton Hotels Corp. permanently has extended its Hilton Honors points-expiration policy to 24 months from the date of last activity from 15 months, the company announced. In September, Hilton had paused point expiration until Dec. 31, 2022, and extended Honors status through March 31, 2023.
Marriott International’s Bonvoy and Hyatt Hotels Corp.’s World of Hyatt loyalty programs each also allow for 24 months of inactivity before points expire, while IHG Hotels & Resorts’ IHG Rewards program points expire after 12 months of inactivity, and Best Western Rewards points never expire, according to the companies’ websites.
