Hilton Signs Waldorf Astoria Turks & Caicos Dellis Cay

Hilton has announced the signing of a new luxury resort and branded residences in Turks and Caicos, slated to open in 2028 as the Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos Dellis Cay. Nestled on its own private island, the property will combine villa‑style accommodations with branded homes, reinforcing Hilton’s strategy to deliver upscale experiences in unique seaside settings.
The resort will occupy over three miles of pristine beachfront on Dellis Cay, accessible by a 25‑minute boat transfer from Providenciales. Guests will step ashore into a tranquil environment designed for both relaxation and exploration. Villa‑style layouts will allow for privacy, while the boat journey itself sets the tone for a getaway that feels removed from the ordinary.
Accommodation will include 62 hotel rooms and suites, featuring beachfront bungalows designed to blend indoor comfort with open‑air living. In addition to the hotel component, 65 residential units will be offered, comprising two‑bedroom condominiums and expansive villas accommodating up to six bedrooms. These homes will appeal to families and groups seeking longer stays with all the luxuries of a private residence.
Onsite amenities will center on wellness and celebration. A 13,455‑square‑foot spa will offer treatments inspired by local botanicals, while a serene library provides a quiet retreat. Separate adult and family pools cater to different guest needs, and versatile event spaces will host weddings, corporate retreats and special occasions. Four distinct dining venues promise a culinary journey that reflects Caribbean flavors and international influences.
The Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos Dellis Cay will expand the brand’s global footprint, which already includes more than 45 properties. Hilton has committed to adding 35 new Waldorf Astoria locations worldwide. Prior openings on the horizon include Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique in April 2025 and Waldorf Astoria San Miguel de Allende in 2027, underscoring the brand’s rapid growth in high‑end markets.
“The signing of Waldorf Astoria Turks and Caicos Dellis Cay marks a momentous milestone for Hilton’s expanding luxury portfolio,” said Pablo Maturana, vice president of development for the Caribbean and Latin America at Hilton. “Our dedication to providing bespoke experiences will come to fruition in a one‑of‑a‑kind retreat that harmonizes natural beauty and tranquility with refined sophistication.”
Maturana added that the project reflects Hilton’s broader ambition to strengthen its presence in the Caribbean. “We are proud to extend the reach of our award‑winning brands in the Caribbean, where we plan to nearly double our presence in the coming years,” he said. “The luxury segment is a strategic priority for Hilton, and this development is an important step in meeting the growing demand of sophisticated travelers, in collaboration with our esteemed partners Desarrollos Hotelco.”
By combining signature Waldorf Astoria service with villa‑style privacy and branded residences, Hilton aims to set a new standard for island luxury. The Dellis Cay project showcases the brand’s commitment to crafting immersive environments where guests can unwind in refined comfort and savor the natural splendor of one of the Caribbean’s most coveted destinations.
