Hilton to Open Adults-Only Resort in Cancun by 2026
Hilton has announced a franchise agreement for the upcoming conversion of The Sens Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort into a Tapestry by Hilton property. This announcement marks one of more than 10 new deals Hilton has signed in Mexico in 2024.
The Sens Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort is set to open in Cancun’s vibrant hotel zone, located less than 10 miles from the airport, in 2026. This beachfront property will feature stunning views of Playa Langosta, enhancing the overall guest experience. Guests can look forward to an impressive selection of amenities, including nine restaurants and a brand-new rooftop bar and restaurant.
Pablo Maturana, vice president of development for the Caribbean and Latin America at Hilton, highlighted the company’s strategy, stating, “Our rapid growth in Mexico is driven by a winning combination of strong partnerships with exceptional owners, local market expertise, and award-winning brands. This enables us to bring to life the hotels travelers demand in the destinations they want to visit.” He emphasized that the signing of The Sens Cancun demonstrates Hilton’s commitment to delivering iconic hospitality and legendary service in Mexico.

Currently, Tapestry Collection boasts over 135 independent properties, and this new hotel will contribute to Hilton’s robust pipeline of nearly 120 hotels in various stages of development.
Mexico remains Hilton’s largest and fastest-growing market in the Caribbean and Latin America, with over 100 hotels operating across the country and 40 projects in the pipeline, underscoring the brand’s expanding presence in the region.
