Chattanooga, Tennessee’s iconic Hotel Chalet at The Choo Choo is ready to welcome guests once again on October 31, following an extensive two-year, $19 million renovation that has revitalized and upgraded its facilities and offerings.

The hotel boasts 127 guest rooms, including 25 located in meticulously restored Pullman train carriages dating back to the 1920s and 1960s. These train carriage rooms have been designed to evoke the distinct style and ambiance of their original eras, complete with Victorian or Mid-Century furnishings, decor, and color schemes. The remaining guest rooms are equally impressive, featuring spacious layouts, elegant hardwood furniture, whimsical patterns, and inviting terraces.

Among the many amenities awaiting guests are a pool, a charming courtyard with lush gardens and fire pits, a well-equipped fitness center, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. The hotel’s restaurant, The Southern Belle, offers an upscale dining experience featuring Southern cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients and flavors. For those eager to explore the surrounding mountains, arts, and culture, the hotel also provides curated outfitter experiences.

Inspired by the rich history of US Railways constructing lodges and chalets to inspire travel and adventure, The Hotel Chalet embraces the spirit of rail travel. It beckons travelers to embark on a journey to the scenic city of Chattanooga, where they can immerse themselves in the region’s warm hospitality and aloha spirit.
