Historic union accord reached by Conn. Graduate hotel

Members of the Unite Here organization have ratified an agreement with the Graduate New Haven, giving the Connecticut city its first new hotel workers’ union contract in a quarter century. Labor leaders and elected officials praised the company for departing from common practice by not opposing unionization.
