Hodelpa Hotels Recycles 25,000+ Pounds of Waste in 2025

Hodelpa Hotels, the parent company of Emotions by Hodelpa, has reached a significant sustainability milestone in 2025 by recycling more than 25,000 pounds of waste across its properties in the Dominican Republic during the first half of the year.

Demonstrating its commitment to eco-friendly tourism and environmental responsibility, the hotel group successfully processed the following materials:

  • 60.19 pounds of paper
  • 1,287.96 pounds of plastic
  • 9,915.91 pounds of cardboard
  • 1,287.96 pounds of glass
  • 610 gallons of used vegetable oil

These achievements underscore Hodelpa Hotels’ dedication to reducing environmental impact through comprehensive recycling programs, employee training, and collaborations with certified waste management partners. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to promote responsible tourism and reduce landfill waste while preserving the natural beauty of the Dominican Republic.
