Holland America Line has officially opened bookings for its highly anticipated 2026-2027 Mexico and Pacific Coast seasons, offering travelers a chance to experience the best of both regions aboard premium cruise ships. With itineraries designed to capture the vibrant culture, stunning scenery, and rich history of Mexico and the Pacific Coast, the new schedules promise unforgettable journeys for both seasoned cruisers and first-time travelers.

For those eager to explore the magic of Mexico, Holland America Line is offering voyages that extend up to 12 days in length. Both the Koningsdam and Zaandam will set sail on roundtrip itineraries from the popular homeport of San Diego, providing guests with a seamless travel experience. In total, the two ships will offer 16 departures on eight distinct itineraries, ensuring that there is a perfect cruise option for every type of traveler.

“San Diego is an important homeport for Holland America Line and provides an exceptional experience to our guests at the beginning or end of their Mexican cruise vacations,” said Paul Grigsby, Vice President of Revenue Planning and Deployment for Holland America Line. “After embarking in San Diego, travelers can explore picturesque Cabo San Lucas, take in the history of Loreto, and discover many other fascinating destinations—all while enjoying our premium onboard experience and best-in-cruise service.”

In addition to the exciting Mexico itineraries, Holland America Line will also offer 11 itineraries along the stunning Pacific Coast. Departing from key ports such as San Diego, Seattle, and Vancouver, these voyages will be served by five of the line’s finest ships: Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, and Zaandam. These itineraries are carefully curated to showcase a diverse range of destinations, including the charming coastal town of Astoria in Oregon, the sun-soaked beaches of Santa Barbara in California, and the lively port of Ensenada in Mexico.

Some itineraries even include an overnight stay in San Francisco, offering guests the unique opportunity to explore the iconic city by night and experience its world-renowned culinary and cultural scene. This variety ensures that whether travelers are looking for a quick escape or a comprehensive exploration of the region, Holland America Line has an option tailored to their needs.

“Seattle’s our hometown, and as such, we know a little bit about the Pacific Coast—and the experience guests will have on these itineraries will show that,” Grigsby added. “This series of cruises provides great options for those seeking a quick escape and also serves as a wonderful introduction for those who might be trying their first cruise.”

With these new routes, Holland America Line is set to enhance its reputation as a leader in the cruise industry, offering unique, well-planned itineraries that connect diverse destinations while ensuring exceptional service and comfort on board. The launch of these seasons comes as part of the company’s ongoing strategy to capture a larger share of the leisure travel market by providing enriching, memorable experiences at sea.

As bookings open, travelers are encouraged to secure their cabins early for these popular itineraries. With a blend of luxury, convenience, and destination diversity, the 2026-2027 Mexico and Pacific Coast seasons from Holland America Line promise to be some of the most exciting and fulfilling journeys in the coming years.
