Holland America Line and Seabourn Merge Sales Teams

Holland America Line and Seabourn are merging their sales teams to enhance support for trade partners and unify their sales strategies. Both brands are part of Carnival Corporation & plc.

The integration aims to consolidate industry-leading reporting, analytics, and commercial trade programs for both brands. Natalya Leahy, President of Seabourn, emphasized that this merger will strengthen their sales efforts.

Rob Coleman has been appointed as the Senior Vice President of North America and Australia Sales, leading the combined team. He will report to Beth Bodensteiner, Chief Commercial Officer for Holland America Line. Coleman, who has been with Holland America Line since 1999, previously served as Vice President of North America Sales.

Gus Antorcha, President of Holland America Line, praised Coleman’s extensive experience, noting his crucial role in expanding trade alliances for both brands.

Additionally, Tara Schreiner has been promoted to Vice President of National and Strategic Partnerships for both brands. Steve Smotrys, Seabourn’s current Vice President of Sales and Trade Relations, will be leaving the company in September.

Coleman highlighted the benefits of the merger for travel advisors, stating, “Combining forces makes us a powerhouse, offering consistency, focus, and enhanced support for advisors working with both Holland America Line and Seabourn.”
