Holland America Line Launches Biggest Wave Season Deal for 2026–27
Holland America Line is kicking off Wave Season with what it calls its biggest promotion of the year, rolling multiple guest-favorite perks into one limited-time offer designed to drive early bookings for future sailings.
The new “Start Your Journey” promotion applies to more than 500 cruises departing between summer 2026 and spring 2027. The deal combines fare discounts, stateroom upgrades, onboard and shore excursion credits, reduced deposits and free fares for children on select itineraries. Guests can save up to 30 percent on cruise fares, secure complimentary balcony upgrades and take advantage of lower deposits across a wide range of destinations, from Alaska and the Caribbean to Europe and beyond.
“Whether discovering glaciers and wildlife in Alaska or the culture and history of Europe, Holland America believes the best journeys are those where the destination comes to life on and off the ship,” said Beth Bodensteiner, president of the cruise line. She added that the promotion offers guests an ideal opportunity to plan a vacation that blends exploration, relaxation and attentive onboard service.
Under the “Start Your Journey” offer, eligible bookings can include savings of up to 30 percent on cruise fares, with prices starting as low as $162 per person, per day. Guests may also receive reduced deposits, paying 50 percent less than the standard deposit for the first and second guests in a stateroom. Complimentary stateroom upgrades allow travelers to book a verandah for the price of an ocean-view, or an ocean-view for the price of an interior cabin, subject to availability. Families can benefit from free fares for children aged 18 and under when sailing as the third or fourth guest in a stateroom, with taxes and fees applying.
Travelers who book by January 31 can also earn onboard credit based on cruise length. Credits range from $100 per person for six- to nine-day cruises to $250 per person for Legendary Voyages, and can be used for specialty dining, spa treatments, shore excursions and onboard shopping.
Alaska itineraries include an added incentive. Guests booking 2026 Alaska cruises or Cruisetours by January 31 can receive up to $200 in shore excursion credit per stateroom when using a designated promotional code, making it easier to enjoy glacier viewing, wildlife encounters and wilderness adventures.
For guests booking the line’s “Have It All” premium fare, the Wave Season bonuses stack with included amenities such as shore excursions, a Signature Beverage Package, specialty dining and a Wi-Fi Surf Package. The promotion spans itineraries worldwide, including Alaska Cruisetours, Europe, Canada and New England, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Asia and even Antarctica, with standard Wave Season restrictions and availability conditions applying.
