Holland America Line will premiere a brand-new production celebrating the groundbreaking work of choreographer Bob Fosse and dancer Gwen Verdon. Developed in partnership with RWS Global, “Fosse and Verdon, The Duet That Changed Broadway” will debut in November aboard the Koningsdam, bringing an exclusive Broadway-style experience to guests at sea.

The production will feature musical numbers inspired by Fosse’s original choreography, with songs from iconic shows such as Damn Yankees, Sweet Charity, Cabaret, and Chicago. Guests will also experience never-before-seen archival audio and video content displayed on a striking 270-degree surround screen, immersing them in the world of Fosse and Verdon like never before.

Choreography will be meticulously reconstructed by The Verdon Fosse Legacy, with Dylis Croman and Alyssa Epstein serving as choreographers for the onboard production. This collaboration ensures authenticity while adapting the legendary routines for a cruise-ship stage.

“Guests have expressed a strong desire for more Broadway-style productions, and we couldn’t imagine a better way to deliver than by celebrating two legends of the performing arts,” said Joe Chantry, vice president of entertainment and enrichment for Holland America Line. “The renowned work of Fosse and Verdon has captivated audiences across stage, film, and television, and we’re proud to offer this exclusive experience as part of our commitment to world-class entertainment.”

With “Fosse and Verdon”, Holland America Line continues to elevate its onboard entertainment, blending timeless Broadway artistry with cutting-edge technology to create a show-stopping experience at sea.
