Holland America’s 2026 Europe Season: Expanded Itineraries
Holland America Line is set to elevate its 2026 Europe season with a diverse range of itineraries across four ships, offering travelers unforgettable experiences in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Canary Islands, and transatlantic routes. Cruises will vary from seven to 42 days, providing guests with an array of options for exploring these stunning regions.
Enhanced Mediterranean Exploration
Holland America’s Mediterranean offerings in 2026 are designed to give travelers unparalleled access to new ports and destinations. Paul Grigsby, Holland America Line’s Vice President of Revenue Planning and Deployment, emphasized the expanded itineraries, stating, “There’s so much to see throughout the Mediterranean region. By creating itineraries from multiple homeports, we’re giving our guests the opportunity to explore more ports and countries in an exciting way we haven’t offered before. The range of options we’ve put together really allows travelers to choose their own, ideal Mediterranean adventure.”
Grigsby also highlighted new and returning ports based on guest feedback, including the much-requested Sicily and Portofino, as well as a return to St. Tropez, France, for the first time in over 15 years.
Northern Europe Adventures
For those seeking adventures in Northern Europe, the Nieuw Statendam and Rotterdam will be based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with trips to Dover, England. These ships will offer varied itineraries, including seven-day cruises to Norway’s fjords, sailings between Reykjavik, Iceland, and Rotterdam, and a series of 14-day Baltic and Scandinavian Capitals cruises.
