Hopper and Lloyds Bank Launch Travel Booking Portal for U.K. Cardholders

HTS, the B2B arm of travel platform Hopper, has partnered with Lloyds Bank to launch a new travel booking portal exclusively for Lloyds cardholders in the United Kingdom. The service, branded as “Lloyds Travel Booking powered by Hopper,” is now accessible through the Lloyds mobile app.
The new portal enables customers to book flights and hotels directly, while also benefiting from Hopper’s signature features. These include price prediction tools that help identify the best time to book, and price drop protection, which offers travel credit if prices fall after a booking is made.
According to Lloyds, this marks the first time a U.K. bank has launched a full-service travel booking platform for its customers. “We knew we wanted to do something for our customers to make it easier for them to sort out booking time away, and Lloyds Travel Booking is the solution,” said Tamara van den Ban, managing director of customer propositions at Lloyds Bank.
The partnership is part of HTS’ broader strategy to integrate Hopper’s AI-driven travel tools into platforms operated by major financial institutions and travel brands. In 2023, Hopper partnered with Australia’s CommBank and Brazilian fintech Nubank to create similar booking experiences. HTS also teamed up with AirAsia MOVE to deliver a “cancel for any reason” option to travelers.
With this latest collaboration, Hopper continues to expand its global footprint in embedded travel technology by offering personalized, data-powered booking tools through trusted financial partners.
