Hotel Marcel honors Brutalist roots of Conn. Building

A Brutalist office building in New Haven, Conn., will reopen as Hotel Marcel in April as the first net-zero hotel in the US, according to developer Bruce Becker. Architect Marcel Breuer designed the original building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, with precast concrete panels for the Armstrong Rubber Company.
