Hotel trade show spotlights diversity, recruitment

The National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators and Developers’ hosted the 25th annual International African-American Hotel Ownership & Investment Summit & Trade Show to address a myriad of issues facing the hospitality industry, including the launch of initiatives that elevate BIPOC professionals. “I feel very strongly now that we have the right programs that will allow us over the course of the next five years to get more and more to a situation where we have more people coming up through the ranks who are people of color, different races and ethnic backgrounds versus what we had previous to that,” said Accor CEO Heather McCrory.
