Hotels turn nightly vacancies to long-term workspace

Hotels stuck in a pandemic-caused slump that’s projected to persist for several years are filling the gap in some cases by selling space by subscription to remote office workers. On the cutting edge is Zoku Amsterdam, a micro-apartment extended stay hotel founded in 2015 specifically for workers on the move, which has expansion plans for 2021 and annual memberships.
