How a United Way chapter will make diversity a priority
The United Way of Central New Mexico held nine “kitchen-table” sessions with local leaders to discuss how the philanthropic sector can advance race, equity and social justice issues and has identified several actions to promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the organization’s ranks, writes Chief Marketing Officer Jeanette Brahl. “It is time to take a deep look at our institutions and the role philanthropy has historically played in our community and nationally,” Brahl writes.
