HQ to Include Lyft Rides in Ground Platform

Mobility platform and ground transportation platform provider HQ and Lyft Business have partnered to include Lyft U.S. ridesharing services on HQ’s SummitGround platform, HQ announced Sunday at the Global Business Travel Association convention in San Diego.

The partnership is effective immediately.

“With this relationship, [HQ} clients can now book rideshare as part of the SummitGround platform,” HQ managing director Jeff LaFave said. “They also can process those rides through the SummitGround [billing and payment] process they already have in place for their other ground suppliers.”

In addition, Lyft through its partnerships will offset the carbon emissions for all rides booked through SummitGround, according to HQ.

Further, Lyft has increased the amount of liability insurance that will be available to HQ clients through the SummitGround program, LaFave said.
