HX Expeditions Reveals 2027–28 Season and New Loyalty Program
HX Expeditions has unveiled its 2027–28 season, focusing on mindful travel and deeper, community-led experiences across some of the world’s most remote destinations.
“At HX, our strategy has always been about creating lasting connections with the places and people we visit,” said Gebhard Rainer, chief executive officer of HX Expeditions. “For our 27/28 season, we’re not just adding new pins to our map—we’re going deeper: the ultimate in slow and mindful travel. Whether it’s exploring the untouched wilderness of Greenland with local chefs or designing community-led experiences with Inuit Elders in Arctic Canada, we’re giving guests opportunities to see the world differently.”
The new season features journeys to Arctic Canada, Antarctica, Greenland, Alaska, Svalbard, Iceland, Patagonia, the Outer Hebrides and more, with each itinerary designed to highlight the cultural and natural essence of every destination.
In Arctic Canada, HX will continue offering its community-led experiences created with Inuit elders and local partners, offering guests authentic access to Indigenous traditions, stories and knowledge.
In Antarctica, the line is expanding kayaking and camping programs to allow more guests to experience the continent’s wilderness up close. Meanwhile, Greenland itineraries will deepen collaborations with local communities, including new culinary programs featuring traditional dishes prepared by Greenlandic chefs.
HX is also introducing updates to its HX Explorers Loyalty Program. A new points-based system now includes four tiers—Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum—with members earning points for every night sailed, onboard activities and select land-based experiences.
“Mindful travel is at the core of what we do,” added Rainer. “We want guests to return with more than memories—our goal is to broaden perspectives and foster meaningful connections that honor the cultures and environments they’ve experienced.”
