HX Launches HX Explorers Loyalty Program for Adventurous Travelers
HX, the world’s oldest expedition cruise company, has introduced its first standalone loyalty program, HX Explorers, designed to provide travelers with exclusive benefits and rewards. The program launches this month, featuring two tiers of loyalty: Level 1 for those about to sail and Level 2 for travelers who have completed more than three nights with HX.
Members of HX Explorers can look forward to a variety of unique offerings, including a special welcome cocktail for loyalty members on embarkation day and exclusive discounts on sustainable brands like CEWE, Waterhaul, and Ocean Bottles. In celebration of the company’s 130th anniversary, those sailing in 2026 will also receive commemorative badges as a token of appreciation.
Former members of Hurtigruten’s 1893 Ambassador program will automatically transition to HX Explorers, ensuring that loyal customers continue to enjoy the benefits they have come to expect.
CEO Gebhard Rainer expressed the company’s philosophy, stating, “At HX, we believe that travel is not just about reaching a destination but about embracing the journey and the stories that come with it.” He emphasized that HX Explorers reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding loyal guests, inspiring them to embark on new adventures and explore the world from a fresh perspective.
Rainer further highlighted the evolving desires of today’s travelers, saying, “With HX Explorers, we recognize that today’s travelers seek more than just vacations—they desire meaningful experiences that resonate and inspire.” He added that HX is dedicated to crafting unforgettable moments, whether in the polar regions or during wildlife encounters in Alaska or the Galapagos Islands, fostering a strong sense of community among curious travelers.
