Hyatt Expands in India and Southwest Asia in 2025

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is set to build on its remarkable deal momentum from 2024 with an ambitious expansion plan that will see seven new hotels debut in 2025. Following a highly successful year in which the company signed agreements for 21 new properties across India and Southwest Asia, Hyatt is reinforcing its position as a leading hospitality player in the region. The new hotels, slated to open in strategic locations such as Ghaziabad, Kasauli, Kochi, Bhopal, Vithalapur, Jaipur, and Butwal in Nepal, reflect a carefully balanced mix of business, religious, and leisure travel destinations that cater to both domestic and international travelers.
Hyatt’s growth strategy is built on a strong foundation of diverse property signings across multiple market segments. In 2024, the company secured key deals in major business hubs like GIFT City and Greater Noida, while also expanding its presence in bustling cities such as Mumbai and Bengaluru. Additionally, Hyatt has been active in tapping into new leisure and cultural destinations, with properties in locations like Vrindavan, Kumbhalgarh, Katra, Kandaghat, Jim Corbett National Park, and Pushkar. The expansion in popular getaway spots such as Goa and Jaipur further underlines Hyatt’s commitment to meeting evolving travel preferences. The company has also extended its footprint with the expansion of its Lifestyle Portfolio, including Andaz and JdV by Hyatt brands, and even introduced its 10th brand in India—Destination by Hyatt—to cater to the unique demands of today’s travelers.

Currently, Hyatt boasts 52 hotels across Southwest Asia, with 50 in India and two in Nepal, operating under nine distinct brands. The company has also recently surpassed the milestone of 10,000 keys in the region, further cementing its status as one of the leading hospitality providers in these dynamic markets.
