The hotel group announced that eight resorts have paused operations and are not accepting new reservations through January 31, 2026, while assessments are conducted to determine the extent of storm-related damage. The affected properties include Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa, Dreams Rose Hall Resort & Spa, Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall, Secrets St. James Montego Bay, Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay, Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa, and Zoëtry Montego Bay Jamaica.

A Hyatt spokesperson said guest safety remains the brand’s top priority. “We understand that severe weather can impact travel plans. Our teams are trained and equipped to ensure guest safety during weather-related emergencies,” the statement read.

Hyatt has waived cancellation fees for stays booked directly through November 30, offering full refunds for deposits and prepaid rates. Guests who booked through travel advisors or third-party sites are advised to contact their providers for assistance.
