Hyatt Hotels Corporation Expands European Presence with Acquisition of me and all hotels Brand
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially acquired the me and all hotels brand from Lindner Hotels AG, further strengthening its footprint in the European hospitality market. This strategic move incorporates the urban lifestyle hotel brand, which boasts six hotels and over 1,000 rooms across Germany, into Hyatt’s extensive portfolio. This acquisition is part of Hyatt’s aggressive expansion strategy, which includes a pipeline of 129,000 rooms and several other developments and acquisitions aimed at bolstering its presence in Europe.
The me and all hotels brand, known for its vibrant, city-center locations and appealing public spaces that cater to both business travelers and vacationers, is slated for rapid expansion. New properties are expected to open in Berlin later this year, with additional hotels in Hamburg, Leipzig, and Stuttgart set for completion in 2026. These developments underscore the brand’s potential for growth not just in Germany, but across Europe and other global markets.
Felicity Black-Roberts, Senior Vice President of Development for Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia (EAME) at Hyatt, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition: “The Lindner team has built an incredible brand with me and all hotels, and we believe the brand has great potential for expansion across Europe and other global markets.”
The relationship between Hyatt and Lindner Hotels AG began in June 2023 when Hyatt first partnered with Lindner to integrate the me and all hotels, along with Lindner Hotels & Resorts, into the World of Hyatt loyalty program and include them in the JdV by Hyatt collection. This collaboration has significantly enhanced Hyatt’s distribution in the EAME region, offering its 46 million World of Hyatt members many new travel options.
“Our collaboration with Lindner was a significant step forward for our distribution in the EAME region, expanding our brand footprint and offering many new locations to our World of Hyatt members,” said Black-Roberts. “We look forward to driving further growth for Hyatt’s lifestyle portfolio with me and all hotels – together with Lindner as well as other development partners and franchisees, across Europe and beyond.”
The acquisition not only enhances Hyatt’s hotel offerings but also enriches the travel experiences available to its guests with me and all hotels’ unique approach to hospitality, which includes pop-up kitchens, music events, and other dynamic experiences that resonate with modern travelers. This move is expected to bolster Hyatt’s market share and elevate its position as a leader in the global hospitality industry.
