Hyatt Partners with Luxury Glamping Brand Under Canvas

Hyatt has announced a new partnership with luxury glamping brand Under Canvas, allowing World of Hyatt loyalty members to earn and redeem points at thirteen of Under Canvas’ unique outdoor resorts. These resorts, located near U.S. National Parks and Monuments, offer a distinctive glamping experience featuring safari-style tents, daily activities like yoga, nightly s’mores campfires, and seasonally inspired dining.

The collaboration will see Under Canvas resorts available to World of Hyatt members this year and into 2025. Highlights include Under Canvas Bryce Canyon, just 15 minutes from the national park, Under Canvas Grand Canyon, nestled in 160 acres of forest, and ULUM Moab, offering a luxurious glamping experience. Notably, Under Canvas’ five “Grand Circle” camps in Utah and Arizona are the world’s first DarkSky-certified resorts, focusing on preserving natural night skies.

Matt Gaghen, CEO of Under Canvas, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We’re excited to welcome World of Hyatt members to our safari-inspired camps, providing them with exceptional comfort in stunning natural settings. This collaboration enhances our mission to connect people with extraordinary outdoor experiences.”

Hyatt’s recent expansion includes various partnerships and acquisitions, with recent speculation about acquiring global hotel operator Standard International, known for The Standard Hotels.
