In early 2024, Hyatt Hotels Corporation is scheduled to unveil the adults-only Hyatt Vivid Grand Island – the first Hyatt Vivid resort to join the Inclusive Collection – and the family-friendly Dreams Grand Island in Cancun, Mexico.

Dreams Grand Island, an Inclusive Collection property, and Hyatt Vivid will share a resort complex.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island’s 400 guestrooms are being designed to maximize the sweeping views and will feature a Maya-influenced ambiance that pays tribute to the Mayan deity Kukulkan. The property will be designed by New York-based HOK, design, architecture and engineering firm.

In all the two properties will feature 19 unique options, a 26,000-square-foot spa with 25 treatment rooms, a fitness center, multiple pools, a beach club and more.

A Hyatt affiliate signed a management agreement with Grupo Murano, a Mexican development company for development of the two resorts.

“These plans for the first Hyatt Vivid resort reflect the continued evolution of travel and Hyatt’s unwavering dedication to the all-inclusive concept,” said Javier Coll, group president, global business development & innovation, Inclusive Collection, Hyatt.

“Introducing a resort experience that blends culture and a free-spirted atmosphere with the conveniences of an all-inclusive is an ideal value proposition for owners who are eager to capitalize on this exciting opportunity to introduce the all-inclusive experience to the next generation of travelers.”

Added Grupo Murano CEO Marcos Sacal: “Working with one of the most prominent brands in hospitality aligns with Grupo Murano’s strategic vision. As we expand our services, offerings, and developments, we are eager to work with like-minded companies and brands, such as Hyatt and the Inclusive Collection, which are evolving the travel and hospitality space.”
