Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio with over 50 new openings by 2026. The announcement, made at the ILTM Cannes luxury travel expo, highlights Hyatt’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for upscale accommodations.

Seventy percent of Hyatt’s global room portfolio falls within the luxury and upper-upscale segments, with the company doubling its luxury room count since 2017. Recent acquisitions, including Standard International and Mr & Mrs Smith, along with the creation of a Lifestyle Group, have further strengthened Hyatt’s position. Currently, it operates 256 luxury and lifestyle properties worldwide.

The Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EAME) region has shown strong performance, with notable openings like Park Hyatt London River Thames and Park Hyatt Marrakech driving growth. Javier Águila, Group President for EAME, stated, “Our commitment to luxury and lifestyle segments ensures our future remains brighter than ever.”

Key openings include:

  • Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol (2025)
  • Park Hyatt Cancun (2026)
  • Andaz Turks & Caicos (2026)
  • Miraval, The Red Sea (2025)
  • Thompson Miami Beach (2025)

The expansion reinforces Hyatt’s dedication to delivering unparalleled guest experiences through its diverse luxury brands, which now include Park Hyatt, Andaz, Miraval, Alila, and Dream Hotels.

This strategic growth not only elevates Hyatt’s offerings but also positions the company as a global leader in luxury hospitality.
