Hyatt to Open Adults-Only Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana in 2026

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to expand its all-inclusive portfolio in the Dominican Republic with a new adults-only resort. The 406-room Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana is slated to open in 2026, adjacent to the family-friendly Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana.
A Hyatt affiliate has signed a management agreement with GSM Investissements Dominicana S.R.L., the current owner of Dreams Macao Beach, to develop the new property under Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection. The addition strengthens Hyatt’s presence in one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after destinations for luxury all-inclusive travel.
Secrets Macao Beach Punta Cana will feature a variety of accommodations, including Junior, Master, and Presidential Suites. Guests can choose from 111 swim-out suites and 13 high-level panoramic swim-out suites. The resort will also offer three pools — including a main pool with a beach club ambiance and an activity pool with ocean views — plus an exclusive rooftop pool for Preferred Club members.
Dining options will include nine restaurants and nine bars, among them a farm-to-table venue set in an on-site organic garden, a sports bar with full-service dining, and a cigar lounge. Preferred Club guests will also enjoy an exclusive dining space with curated menus and personalized service.
Hyatt said the new property reflects its commitment to intentional growth in the Dominican Republic, where it has recently opened Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa and Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Miches. The project aims to deliver a premier adults-only experience on Macao Beach, recognized by UNESCO as one of the Caribbean’s top beaches.
