Hyatt Unveils Exciting Lineup of New Luxury & Lifestyle Hotels Opening in 2023-24

Hyatt is expanding its lifestyle and luxury hotel brands with new openings slated for the rest of the year and into 2024 across the globe, from a new Thompson hotel in the heart of Houston to an Unbound Collection hotel in Tokyo, Japan.

The Americas
Close to home are several new Thompson hotels. Opening this November is the Thompson Houston, featuring 36 stories, 172 guest rooms and 100 private residences. Later on in December, the Thompson Palm Springs will feature a modern design with guest bungalows, gardens, spa and restaurant.

Several resorts will also open this year and next year, including the Sunscape Coco Punta Cana this summer; the Dreams Estrella del Mar Mazatlán Golf & Spa Resort this fall; Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club this fall; and the Dream Valle de Guadalupe in the summer of 2024.

The Thompson South Beach in Miami and the Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol will also make their debuts in early and mid-2024.

Europe, the Middle East & Africa
The Andaz Doha will open this October, located in West Bay near Doha’s luxury shopping areas. The hotel will offer 256 rooms, 32 suites and 56 residences, as well as several different dining outlets ranging from South African cuisines to Singaporean street food.

In Frankfurt, Germany, a new Unbound Collection by Hyatt will make its debut in December. Kennedy 89 is a luxury hotel offering 181 rooms and suites located in the Sachsenhausen district surrounded by 19th century architecture and within walking distance to the scenic Main River.

Other openings for 2024 include the Dream Doha; Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa & Marina in Portugal; the Park Hyatt London River Thames; the Thompson Rome; and the Zoëtry Halkidiki Resort & Spa.

Asia & The Pacific
Hyatt’s growth in Asia and the Pacific continues growing with several new openings. The hotel corporation recently celebrated the opening of the fourth Andaz property in China, the Andaz Nanjing Hexi in April and will celebrate a new Unbound Collection by Hyatt property in Tokyo this October.

The Hotel Toranomon Hills will open inside of Tokyo’s newest business hub, offering 205 rooms, working spaces, a restaurant experience by Michelin-starred chef Sergio Herman and transport to and from Haneda International Airport.

The Andaz Macau will also open this October.

In 2024, Hyatt will celebrate the openings of the Hyatt Centric Zhongshan Park Shanghai; the Caption by Hyatt Zhongshan Park Shanghai; the Alila Dongao Island; the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur; and the Hyatt Centric City Centre Kuala Lumpur.
