IAG Cargo is expanding its online booking presence by placing its capacity on cargo.one.

The cargo division of International Airlines Group, which includes British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus, will place its capacity on the platform starting in “early spring”.

Roll out will start with European countries and then be expanded to all cargo.one countries.

Cargo.one said the addition of IAG Cargo was one of its largest partnerships to date, giving its freight forwarder user base access to a network spanning 60 countries with over 500 aircraft flying thousands of flights per week, with particular strength on transatlantic and Latin American routes.

The carrier group has also signed up to use the data analysis platform cargo.one360, as well as digital sales trends and benchmarks.

David Shepherd, managing director at IAG Cargo, said: “This partnership is the latest step in our journey to transform the way we do business, making it easier than ever for our customers to book their freight online with IAG Cargo.”

IAG Cargo has also partnered with IATA’s Net Rates portal, Cargo Ai and WebCargo.
