Ibom Air Set to Launch International Routes, Starting with Lagos-Accra Flights

Nigeria’s Ibom Air is gearing up for its international debut, announcing daily flights between Lagos, Nigeria, and Accra, Ghana, commencing on October 17, 2023. The airline plans to deploy its CRJ900LRs on the route initially, with a transition to the larger A220 as demand increases. Ibom Air, which currently operates domestic routes within Nigeria, aims to introduce its first A220 in November 2023, with subsequent deliveries scheduled in batches every quarter. The carrier’s expansion into international markets aligns with its strategic growth plans, marking a significant milestone for the airline.
